Mr. Gizmo here. At SFIHS, we’re already out the gate with poems about technology.

I, Mr. Theodore Aloysius Gizmo, AKA Mr. Gizmo, have the honor of introducing the fantastic poem entitled, “Oh Technology!” written by Ms. Cristina Ridgeley-Mones of San Francisco International High School.

This poem really touches on my personal feelings about the greatness of technology, and is truly woof-derful!

Here it is.  Enjoy!

Oh Technology!

By Ms. Cristina Ridgeley-Mones

Internet, oh Internet- oh how I love thy ways!

You are the reason I’m so connected to everyone for days.

There is no topic I cannot learn, you supply me with the world

Without you I’d be desperate, my mind would be unfurled

I can’t imagine life before you, how did people ever survive?

From googling my homework to YouTube clips on how to drive…

I sometimes think I’m addicted to you, but then I stop to ponder…

The countless ways you have enabled my endless age of such constant cyber wander.
