ACE Partnership Program

ACE offers a customized funding program to address schools’ individual technology needs.

WiMAX Broadband

In cooperation with Clearwire Communications, ACE delivers WiMAX broadband to Bay Area schools. This mobile, 4G-technology supports technology instruction with the most advanced wireless connection available. WiMAX offers average mobile download speeds of 3 to 6 mbps with bursts of over 10 mbps, and provides service areas that are measured in miles, not in feet. This means that students and teachers have high-speed, mobile Internet access in every corner of the campus, from classroom and library, to the teacher’s break room to the school garden and beyond.

Discovery Programming

Discovery Education is an award-winning, educational streaming video-on-demand service. It is designed to enhance curriculum and is proven to increase student achievement. This resource empowers educators to capture the teachable moment in their classroom, incorporate clips into a multimedia presentation and is ideal for inquiry and project-based learning.

The following innovative technologies are available to choose from as part of the customized funding program:
  • Interactive Whiteboards
  • Digital Projectors w/built-in document cameras
