School year: 2021/2022

Adult / Family Member Classes:
Refugee & Immigrant Transitions will offer two levels of remote English & technology Classes (via Zoom), four days/week, for one hour/day. While the classes themselves will be shorter (one hour versus one and a half hours in previous years, due to the challenges of maintaining a high level of engagement via zoom for long periods of time), RIT will be supplementing the lost hours of instruction with one-on-one check-ins and additional asynchronous learning. OIHS will continue to work with Refugee & Immigrant Transitions to create a computer loaner system, ensure that families have access to reliable internet at home, and that they understand the basics of computer use and how to access/utilize zoom.
