Everyone knows that I want to get
Treats from your pocket, but an added asset
Are words of encouragement in poem form
That tell us we’re great – that’s never a bore.

Huskie here.  Prefer my meal in a dish.
Get up when the can opener grants my wish.
But pocket poems perk my ears up to explore
New worlds, success, wisdom and more.

I’m not so worried ‘bout snacking around
It’s poems I love and the hand that’s found
Rhymes in a pocket, computer or phone
To share with friends n strangers unknown.
